We welcomed Diesel Dennis into our family on Monday at 2:40 pm. He was our biggest baby weighing in at 8 lbs 15 oz and 22 1/2 in long. Labor was not too horrible, but I am glad that I won't be doing it ever again! You can see a picture at http://www.peacehealth.org/Whatcom/ and click on baby album.
I believe Courtney Kennedy was the closest guesser!

Must be a boy
No baby yet. Stubborn child :) My original plans of being induced got changed when my doctor decided to go out of town for the week of the 17th. So here I sit. My sister went back to California yesterday. She had booked her flight when my doctor agreed on the 17th a few months ago. We had a nice visit with her anyway. She spoils my kids rotten. The only kid I went to due date with was Hunter. Lexi and Hallie were both a week early and Karlee was 10 days, so this is getting a little old for me.
I feel like I should do a little guessing game for those of you who read my blog. I have a ton of new baby clothes and since this will be the last baby for us there will be a lot of clothes unused for the opposite sex of what I have. I especially have a ton of new baby boy clothes since I have had two girls since Hunter (we never find out the sex of the baby). The prize will be an outfit from the baby clothes I have or if you aren't planning on having any kids I'm sure I can figure out something else. So put a guess of the sex, day, height, and weight in the comment box and we'll hopefully find out who wins sooner than later.

Karlee and Hallie have had a horrible cold and fever that started on Sunday. They both had fevers for a few days and have been quite miserable. I am just glad to get it over with before the baby comes. Karlee though seems to really get hit when she gets sick. I think it is might be because the girl has no fat on her. Anyways her nose has been like a faucet and has been really irritating her she keeps saying very angrily "why my boogers keep coming out!". I tell her that she is sick and she says "I know, but why my boogers keep coming out!" It is pretty cute. I do think they are starting to feel better though.

Spring Break

The kids are doing great. Lexi and Hunter's recovery went better than I could have even imagined. Thursday (the day after) they were drugged up a little still ,but by Friday they were tip top. This past week we kept very busy. The cousins spent 2 nights along with Josie and Gillian. I went overboard on activities for them to keep myself busy, trying to go into labor. I think it helped a little because on Thursday I was dilated to a 2. Now the waiting game begins. Lexi and Hunter also did swimming lessons at the YMCA this week everyday from 4-5. Lots of kids also did these lessons making the locker room overcrowded. I am sure glad that is over :) We went to Seattle on Wednesday to meet the latest addition to the Holman family. Jonathan and Suzanne's little boy Adam got a taste of our crazy family. It was a nice visit. Now I am the last pregnant one out of the three sister-in-laws. I don't really like being last, but one thing that makes me smile is that this is the last time I will be pregnant and probably not for them. Last night Wynden and I went to the Keg with a coupon that they keep sending us (they must know that I can not get enough red meat with this pregnancy). It was so good I want to go back tonight!

Surgery Update
Wednesday started pretty early for us. We were checked in at 8:30 and waited for our turn. The kids were very hyper and excited. At around 9:30 they came and gave Hunter a drink of "relaxing" juice, so taking him away from me for surgery wouldn't be so traumatic. Well this definitely had a reverse effect on him. He was so funny. First he started laughing and talking gibberish and then tried to entertain Lexi and me by shaking his "booty" and in turn ran into the wall three times after which I had to hold him tightly on my lap so he wouldn't hurt himself. I wish that I had brought my video camera it was that funny(I didn't even bring my regular camera I only had my cell phone). After about 20 minutes they took him away in a wagon and he just sat there so calmly. Then it was Lexi's turn for the juice. After witnessing Hunter for the last 20 minutes she immediately started acting silly and I was like Lexi it doesn't happen that fast faker :) Anyway it hit her differently and she just laid on the rug on the ground telling me she was seeing different people in the rug. After 30 minutes they wheeled Hunter into recovery. He did really well. The doctor said that his tonsils and adenoids were huge and for sure needed to be taken out. He was going to play it by ear for Lexi's tonsils and see if they were big enough and maybe just do her adenoids. Another thirty minutes and we had Lexi back. Her tonsils were even bigger than Hunter's so they were removed as well as the adenoids. We had to wait 2 hours before we could leave to make sure the kid's vitals were ok. We got home around 2:30. Hunter was sick the rest of the day I think because of all the drugs. Overall they did really well. Last night they were up on and off, which was to be expected. This morning started out rough, but after I talked them into taking their meds, it wasn't that bad of a day. It is hard to say if they sound different yet because they try not to use their voices and they talk very quietly. I'll keep you posted.
