a spring break road trip to California. I decided kind of last minute to take the kids to visit my sister and her family in Northern California. We left Thursday morning drove all day and finally stopped in Southern Oregon (a little over half way) at a hotel for the night. Back on the road again Friday morning and we arrived in time for dinner. We hardly saw dry road the whole drive. It poured and was so foggy. There was a time I thought about pulling over, but then I remembered reading somewhere that if you put on sunglasses during a downpour you can see better driving and I could I wore them the whole drive. The kids were so good. Driving that long actually was not too bad they were that good. We have a few adventures planned while we are here and my sister is still spoiling them with little trinkets and playing games (trying to make sure she has the favorite aunt status). Pictures and stories to tell I'm sure to come...
