Why NOW!!!!
When I woke up this morning I could tell I was grumpy, I even told the kids right away (warned them). Nothing too horrible had even happened just a normal day. We ran a couple errands and by the time we got home I was almost complete in my transformation into Cruela. It was weird though because the kids were pretty good while we were gone. Diesel was crying because he was tired and needed a diaper change, so I took care of him and put him to sleep. Then I started making lunch, the kids were listening to this music machine and having a really good time, but they were being so loud, so of course I, Cruela made them stop having fun so they would be quieter. I knew once I got lunch on the table and I could sit down and just relax maybe I wouldn't be so grumpy. Lunch was served and a request for a smoothie was made it sounded good to me as well, so I said I would make one. I had sugared strawberries from Curt's in the fridge out in the garage, so I went to get them with Diesel in my arms. I don't put the lid on tight because I can't get it off if I do. As I was getting it out it somehow (couldn't do it again if you paid me), the handle slipped through my fingers and dropped to the stepped area leading to our door from the garage. The bucket landed straight up but the impact sent strawberries flying all over. On the shoe buckets and shoes, the coats hanging up, and all over the rug. I seriously contemplated throwing the rest of the strawberries and the bucket across the garage, but instead I started cleaning up the huge mess that I couldn't even blame on a kid for making. About an hour later...I sat down with my lunch and relaxed. That apparently was the bottom and things started to get better from there (my online purchase arrived). I guess you need a no good terrible bad day every once in a while to help you realize just how great all the other ones are :)

waterslide fun
Yesterday was a beautiful day and we got to spend it at the waterslides. We went with some friends and had a great time. My wonderful friend Laura took Diesel for me and brought him so I could feed him. After I fed him she then took Hallie with her, so Hallie could take a nap (did I luck out or what) Thanks Laura!!! After Hallie left we could do some serious sliding. Karlee went down the black hole with me two times and we finally talked tired Hunter to go down once. Lexi was in all her glory as she went with the older kids all day and had a blast. When we had first gotten there I of course sunscreened everyone and decided to hold off on myself hoping to get some color (lets just say I haven't gotten a lot of color this summer). I started to feel it on my shoulders around 1:00 so I sunscreened them. When we were driving home I could feel that I was burnt. And sure enough I am like a lobster. I am not sure what I was thinking because we were there for five hours!! I have never seen my back and shoulders so red. I am very sore and learned a great lesson. If you are glowing white then the waterslides is the last place to try to start tanning :)

Don't lose your pictures
So our computer crashed :( For those of you who have pictures on your computer copy them now!! I have about a years worth that I have not printed yet (Disneyland, Diesel's birth). Chances are slim for recovering them without paying a fortune, which I am contemplating very seriously.
