Any Guesses On Where We've Been All Week...

I guess the sign gives it away. The picture was free, so don't judge me on subjecting my kids to a Vegas showgirl.

Good to Know where we stand

He continues on the back and lists the rest of his sisters. Neither Wynden or me made it on the paper. I was like really Hunter
the first thing you put about your family is the chickens.

a little road trip

Wynden got a crazy idea of surprising his mom and sister this past weekend. His niece was getting baptized, so all the New Mexico and Utah families would be in one spot for it. So we rallied together and got almost everyone from up here to go down for the surprise. We left Wednesday afternoon and drove all night. We got there on Thursday morning, ate breakfast, and then went to his sister's school (she's the principal) to surprise her...she was in a meeting, so we went to the hotel swam for a while and got ready to try it again. She was surprised it was really fun to see her face. I told her because of the meeting she got a clean surprise instead of a drove all night no shower surprise. We had a great time. We swam a lot and ate a lot. The drive home we were dumb and did it all during the day. The kids did great, but that's a long time to be in the car. Thank goodness for portable DVD players.

I'm not as dumb as I look

I love it when my kids start school, they think their teacher is way smarter than me. My sister warned me of this, but I was like no way my kids think I know everything. Just the other day Karlee was telling me a story about school and said something about the afternoon and then she says, "mom do you know what afternoon means?"

I guess I need to keep my google searching of how to do their homework a secret :)

Never too late to post about a tea party

For Hallie's birthday I threw together a last minute party for her and her friend Chloe, who's birthday is one day later. I thought a tea party would be so fun and I've done it before, so I went for it. I have a ton of tea cups from my grandma, so I used them and the girls thought they were so grown up. My niece helped put make-up on, paint nails, and served their every need while I cut out the crowns, which took a little longer than I anticipated, but that's ok. It went really great and everybody had a good time.
