Easter

It was fun having Easter at my sister's house.  We did miss Wynden, but we got to celebrate it with my sister and her family and my mom and dad.  The kids found out that the Easter bunny goes to California too.  My sister and my mom spoiled the kids with another basket of treats too.  They were pretty excited.

Destination Arrival

 

Well back to our trip....sorry for the lack in blogging lately, we are still recovering from being so sick.

My sister is the best hostess for the kids.  She spoils them rotten.  They have a pool and hot tub outside, so that is so fun to have access to whenever they want.  The kids got to decorate cookies and dye easter eggs.

The weather was ok.  Definetly better than last year, so that was good.

Stops 1 and 2

We actually left our house on Wednesday for California, but we didn't get very far. We brought my nieces and nephews to Federal Way because they were flying out the next morning to go see their dad. It was Jonathan and Katelyn's birthdays, so we went to a trampoline place and had a party. The kids had a great time and then we all went back to Jonathan and Suzanne's to spend the night. There were ten extra people at their house that night.

I wanted to get going early that next morning, so we left their house at 6:20. We only had six hours until we reached our stopping point for the day, but for some reason my bladder was out of control (TMI) I had to stop at every rest stop except two that day. My mom thought maybe it was the antibiotics that I was on. It was frustrating because it was suppose to be a quick drive and with lunch, getting gas, and all the pit stops we didn't get to our hotel in Medford Oregon until 2:00.

The hotel pool was awesome. It had a huge waterslide (that is why I chose this hotel I love waterslides). The kids had a blast. Only six more hours of driving until we reach our destination from this hotel. We left at 9:00 the next morning.
