Happy Birthday Wynden!

Yesterday was Wynden's birthday.  We were in Whistler for the long weekend, so basically his birthday was filled with laying out by the pool, going to a park, driving home, and Bob's take-out for dinner.  He turned 37, so only 3 more years until he is an old man and I will have to start lokoing for a younger one :)

Wynden was in charge of the hanging baskets this year...

Wynden bought some bulbs from Costco this year and wanted to try them in the hanging baskets instead of me buying flowers and just planting them.  Well they took forever to bloom and oddly enough the baskets were never actually "hanging baskets" because this is where they have been all summer. 

Hunter's Fundraiser

Hunter is selling cookie dough for football anybody interested.  $16.00 for 2.5 lbs. of cookie dough.  Flavors are choc. chip, peanut butter cup, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin, candy m&ms, white choc mac nut, choc pecan.  Today is the last day let me know ASAP.

Last Week...

was the Fair!!!  My kids look forward to this all year.  It is crazy because the fair has always been the end to the summer my whole life, so the fact that it is over and school starts next week is crazy!!  The summer went so quickly I can hardly remember what we did with all our time. 

The day we rode the rides was like the hottest day the whole summer of course.  The kids still had a good time with cousins and friends.  The picture of the the ride that drops down cracks me up because my niece Blaine was so gaggy on it after we ate dinner (click on it to enlarge for full effect).  Her cheeks would blow up like she was throwing up and then she would put her hand to her mouth.  It happened the whole ride.  When she got off I was like Blaine are you going to throw up and she was like I did but I pushed it back down.  She wanted to ride it again though.  Crazy girl!

Happy Birthday to Hallie

Hallie turned five last week.  She had a great birthday.  Her choice for breakfast was donuts of course. She got to play with some friends, go to McDonald's for lunch, and then to Chuck E Cheese.  She is so excited and scared all at the same time to start kindergarten, but I know that once she is comfortable she will love it.  I love this girl so much.  She is a mommy's girl to the extreme and maybe a little too clingy, but I wouldn't trade her for anything.

Happy Birthday Hunter

Every year my kids have a birthday I say I can't believe they are a year older, so I can't believe Hunter is nine already.  Hunter had a great birthday today.  He got to go into Bellingham and shop a little, go to the Olive Garden for lunch, had a friend come play in the sprinkler and then come to Red Robin with us, after which we went to the dollar tree and all the kids got to pick out one thing, came home to have a bowl of coldstone, and then opened presents...spoiled rotten right.  Hunter had a good year.  He does well in school and is very well behaved (we are trying to get him to be the same at home).  He bugs the girls a lot, but I honestly don't know what they would do all day if he weren't bugging them.  Hunter is one of the most thoughtful, giving persons I know.  Happy Birthday Bud!

Busy, busy

Well school has been out for over three weeks now and we have done a lot! Here's the list... Three basketball camps 3 trips to Lake Whatcom (the weather went downhill as soon as we got there every single time) Fairhaven spray park Seattle for a baby blessing Utah for a wedding Practices for Lexi and Hunter's 3 on 3 teams Chuck E Cheese Lynden city park Cub scout camp My 14th wedding anniversary, which is today, it was tough, but we made it through that 13th year :) We have been so busy, but we are having a blast, hope you are too.
